• One arm affected (R or L) (OA)

Pay Scale

• Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 40 years for UR candidates

Essential Qualifications
Educational Qualifications

1. A degree in any discipline.

1. Completion of a Category-6 Dangerous Goods training course approved by:

• Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), or

• International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), or

• International Air Transport Association (IATA)

Experience Required

• Total Experience: 5 years

• Field of Experience: Handling of air cargo in scheduled operations

Note: Qualifications may be relaxed at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for well-qualified candidates.
Job Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections/audits of airline operators, shippers, freight forwarders, and airport operators.

• Submit inspection reports to the Chief Dangerous Goods Inspector.

• Finalize audit findings, communicate with organizations, and follow up for corrective actions.

• Review Dangerous Goods Manuals, Flight Operations Manuals, and training programs of air operators, airport operators, and ground handling agencies.
